Now, in 2025, Elphinstone continues to lead. Our Easyweigh® system is officially type-approved by Transport Certification Australia (TCA) as a Smart ONBOARD MASS system, and it’s the only approved onboard weighing system that accurately weighs vehicles fitted with conventional spring suspensions.

Why is that important? Most other Smart ONBOARD MASS systems are limited to air suspension vehicles, excluding a significant portion of the heavy haulage sector. However, easy weigh overcomes this limitation by utilising fifth-wheel loadcells to weigh the prime mover directly.
