New Renault Kangoo Lifestyle Pack adds a dash of panache

Renault has introduced a new up-spec work-and-play option pack for the strong-selling five-seat Kangoo Maxi Crew LCV.

The new Kangoo Lifestyle Pack is only available on the long-wheelbase variant, which uses a highly efficient 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine, and drives the front wheels through a slick shifting 6-speed manual gearbox.

The new Lifestyle Pack adds visual, comfort, technology and privacy features to the already impressive standard specification for a very reasonable $1290 over the cost of the standard vehicle.

The Lifestyle Pack provides R-LINK enhanced audio and navigation system with 7-inch touchscreen and digital radio, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and rear ventilation outlets for the second row passengers. Outside, the Lifestyle Pack adds a smooth, redesigned, colour-coded front bumper, a painted rear bumper, gloss black door mirrors, and extra tinted privacy glass.

Rear side windows are a dealer fit option, providing a light and airy feel for the whole vehicle, and are priced from $290 plus dealer fitting.

In addition, all Kangoos built after June 2016 now come with driver and front passenger side airbags and rear parking sensors for additional safety and security.

“The Kangoo Lifestyle Pack gives customers an added level of comfort and style for a working vehicle that can also double as weekend family transport,” says Lyndon Healey, Renault LCV Model Line Manager.

“Even when configured to carry five adults there is still good load space behind the rear seats, and with the optional rear side windows fitted, the van looks and feels like a family car. In fact, the Kangoo Maxi Crew Lifestyle could earn its keep as a highly efficient taxi, premium airport shuttle or multi-role courier vehicle.

“Thanks to the Kangoo being based on the platform of the Scenic people mover, the Kangoo drives like a comfortable passenger car, and with the Lifestyle Pack addition to the Maxi Crew, businesses large and small have access to a very versatile workhorse that is 100% claimable as a business expense for ABN holders,” Lyndon says.

“Kangoo has enjoyed significant sales success in Australia over the past few years thanks to its versatility, low running costs and driver-friendliness. A diverse array of businesses has taken Kangoo on board from general parcel deliveries to flowers, food and furnishings, as well as cleaning operators and security and IT system installers. It is hard to think of a business that wouldn’t benefit from having a Kangoo in the fleet,” Lyndon says.

The new Kangoo Lifestyle pack is available from Renault’s 55 dealers across Australia.

Like all Renault LCVs, the Kangoo is equipped with a 3-year/200,000km-factory warranty
and 3 years of roadside assistance, plus the first three scheduled services are capped at $349 each. Kangoo requires servicing only once each year, or every 15,000km, whichever comes first, making it a very efficient business tool.
